FORST Live 2019: March 29-31 in Germany

FORST Live 2019 is over. The forestry exhibition in Offenburg was great and really crowded – especially sunny Sunday with 20C degrees! Thanks to customers for coming by and making deals, and also to our stand team – FARMA & BIGAB sales manager Tim, aftermarket manager Kert and crew of Oswald Agrartechnik!

Czech and Polish dealers' and journalists' visit

In the middle of March our dear Czech and Polish dealers and journalists visited FORS MW factory but also our secret testing polygon to try BIGAB and FARMA machinery - some of it has been in daily use over 15 years already!

It was a pleasure and fun for us to spend these two days with real professionals form JPJ Forest, ForTech Services, Silvatech and Lesnicka Prace.

SIMA Paris February 24-28, 2019

The international agribusiness show SIMA – 5 days and hundreds of thousands visitors – is done. It was a real success for FARMA & BIGAB: countless number of great contacts with dealers and customers. Visitors were particularly interested in our BIGAB 20-24, but also in different combinations of BIGAB and Z-crane and FARMA trailer-loader sets.

We are thankful to our international sales manager Tom, product manager Sulev and dealers BG Mat and TVCG SPRL for magnificent work during all these days!

FORS MW hosted a production management training group from Opstar Profit

We are proud to be a good example for production management training group of Opstar Profit!
On February 14th our CEO Ahti and Production Manager Gary described to the group of production leaders how we are using the tools like 6S, Scrum and Global reader in our everyday work. It was a great and mutually beneficial day.

TTK University of Applied Sciences invited FORS MW to talk about their production management.

On February 6th our HRM Kairi-Liis and production manager Gary visited TTK University of Applied Sciences to give a short lecture about production organization in FARMA & BIGAB factory. The 2nd year students of machine engineering were really interested in the topic and asked wise and relevant questions.

Hopefully we’ll see these great young people as our colleagues one day!

Visitors from the Federation of Estonian Engineering Industry

On January 10th FORS MW hosted 20 visitors from the Federation of Estonian Engineering Industry. Our Production Manager Gary made a factory tour to dear colleagues and introduced the new technologies that have been implemented during 2018.

FORS MW has made serious investments to the production during 2018. The key focus has been on automation and assemblies accuracy which increases constructions quality and lifetime, also punctuality in deliveries.

FARMA & BIGAB show their best at the largest agricultural indoor fare in Finland.

You can find our team – Tero, Sulev and Anneli – in Finland at MaatalousKonemessut’ stand 6C20 from November 15-17. This time we show the bestselling lumber trailer FARMA CT 6,7- 9F and our heavy-duty transportation trailer BIGAB 20-24. Hook lift trailer BIGAB 12–15 can be seen in our dealer Yrjö Tenkanen’s stand. Also you can explore the functionality of our grapples, energy cutters and winches at the fair.

There are more than 300 businesses presenting their agricultural machinery, equipment and services at the fair. The general trends in our field of activity have been the same for several years. Producers of trailers, cranes and their accessories are looking for ways to create faster, lighter and stronger machines to meet consumers' needs. So do we :).

FORS MW is now a member of the Federation of Estonian Engineering Industry

Federation of Estonian Engineering Industry unites machine building and metal companies and Estonian major educational organizations in the field of engineering. The members differ from Estonian biggest and experienced companies to small and flexible businesses.

We hope that the new cooperation gives to FORS MW great new opportunities in R&D, improves labour force recruiting and introduces us more to world.

Summary of the dealer day

Here is summary of the dealer days in Landtechnik Seitz´s yard from our German sales representative Peter Roos:

It is a yearly tradition to have dealer day in Landtechnik Seitz yard in Lindenfels-Glattbach.

Interested customers were coming from near and far away, they all had a closer look into machineries in wood transport and wood processing.

This year dealer Seitz showed FARMA CT 6,3-8 and CT 7,0-10 G2.The CT 6,3-8 had a self-made body for brushes, which was a really good eye catcher.

I had really nice and interested talks with customers.You can see that customers asking more and more special requirements to machineries, so that they can fulfil their own market niche. It is a pleasure to see how our factory can help the customers to find the right machinery for the special needs of customers.

I like to thank dealer Seitz for the well done professional show on his yard.

Heizen mit Holz, DE

Last weekend was the 13th “Heizen mit Holz” in Fuhrberg and for us that was the second time we attended this great show. 

Our dealer Bernd Bohne from Schaumburger Landtechnik GmbH & Co. KG was very pleased with the exhibition. Among other products FARMA CT6.7-9F forestry trailer found an happy owner straight from the exhibition ground. 

We would like to thank all the visitors for the nice talks and see you again in 2020.

Dealer's day in Netherlands

Our Dutch dealer Hissink & Zn organized a demo day with machines in their yard, including FARMA and BIGAB equipment. Have a look in the video below!

Hissink & Zn is going to take part of the AgroTechniek Holland 2018 exhibition next week! They are situated at stand 6.35 and will have our machines there as well! So make sure you would not miss it out this time.

This weekend FARMA and BIGAB will be taking part of 4 exhibitions at once

On 29th of August the International Holzmesse Klagenfurt took off and it is our first time being in Austria with our own stand! Tim who is there with our dealers is having busy times and he is happy that a lot of customers are coming by and showing interest towards the machines.

At the same time, just some 300 kilometers away there is the Karpfhamer Fest & Rottalschau (Germany) exhibition where our salesman Peter is together with dealers, showing FARMA machines and assisting customers.

Approximately 2500 km away from Karpfhamer and Klagenfurt in Jämsa, Finland is happening the Finnmetko 2018 fair where we have FARMA and BIGAB machines together with Tero and dealers!

And over the sea in North America we are represented at Picken's Farm Equipment's stand at Expo Brome Fair in Canada, Quebec. FARMA machines are proudly presented and people at the stand are willing to help you with your questions regarding forestry equipment.

Everybody who are interested of buying either BIGAB or FARMA machine anytime soon but would like to see those machines before: a very busy exhibition time is ahead of us where we are going to show the hook lift trailers, as well as forestry machines and equipment

Tomorrow the Klagenfurter Holzmesse in Austria️ is going to take off and we have there the market's favorite model BIGAB 10-14 with 8,0 meters long Z-crane! Of course we have there FARMA machines as well: CT 6,7-9F, energy cutters BC18 and BC25 as well the different size of grapples. Find us during the time period of 29.08-01.09 at stand W33A!

Beside that, in Finland️ we are going to take part of the Finnmetko exhibition to present our wide product range. The heavy-duty BIGAB machine 20-24 will be shown at the stand - do not miss it out! From forestry side we have there the FARMA tractor processor 5-15B and best-selling lumber trailer CT 6,7-9F. FARMA Generation 2 machines will be represented by T12 G2 together with our longest crane C8,5 G2. Not to mention all other equipment which you can attach to the machines and cranes. The exhibition is taking off on Thursday and lasts until Saturday. You will find us at stand 216! 

The exhibition Entreprenad Live Göteborg in Sweden️ is also not miles away anymore! We are there with our BIGAB machines, keep your eye on our Facebook page to hear more!
